PARTY PLANNING
Planning a children’s birthday party can feel overwhelming—venue hire, entertainment, food, invites, and party bags are just the beginning! We’re here to help make things easier. If you’re considering booking with us, here are some handy tips:
1. Check Availability 📅
Start by filling in our enquiry form or sending us an email. We’ll get back to you with our available dates and can even provisionally hold a date for a short time while you finalise other arrangements.
2. Choosing the Right Venue 🏠
Local community centres and church halls are often ideal for children’s parties. Some can be booked online, while others may need a quick phone call or email.
When choosing a venue, consider:
-
Enough space for play areas
-
Easy access for unloading and loading equipment
-
Kitchen facilities
-
Nearby parking
🚚 Important: We can only deliver to ground-floor venues and require easy van access for setting up and packing away.
3. Party Timings ⏰
Many parents now choose party times outside traditional meal slots, such as 10am–12pm or 2pm–4pm. This can save time, reduce costs and avoid food waste — plus fewer untouched sandwiches and kids only eating the Wotsits!
⏱️ Setup & Pack Away:
We require one hour before and one hour after your party to set up and pack away our equipment. Please remember to allow for this when booking your venue.
4. Securing Your Booking 🔒
Once you’ve confirmed your venue, let us know and we’ll:
-
Request a non-refundable deposit.
-
Send you a link to our online booking form.
-
Make sure you’re happy with our Terms & Conditions.
5. Final Payment 💳
A few weeks before your event, we’ll confirm all the details and provide a final invoice, including:
-
Your chosen party package.
-
Any extras you’ve added.
-
The delivery fee.
6. Party Day! 🎈
On the big day, we’ll:
-
Meet you at the venue at the agreed time
-
Set everything up and provide a verbal risk assessment
-
Return after the party to pack away — leaving you free to enjoy the celebrations stress-free.
Other Things to Consider... 💡
-
Activities & Entertainment: Sometimes, less is more! Too many activities can be overstimulating.
-
Setup & Pack Away: It’s easier without the birthday child (or siblings) around. If possible, divide and conquer with another adult!
-
Decorations: Check if your venue allows them and if any restrictions apply.
-
Nap Times: Plan around your little one’s routine to avoid meltdowns.
-
Capturing Memories: Assign a family member or friend to take photos and videos of the special moments.
-
Music: Ensure your venue has a music license if you plan to play tunes.
-
Party Bags: Classic goody bags, a small book, themed toys (like a toy car), and, of course, a slice of cake are always a hit!
